Community Consolidated School District 59, located in the Chicago suburbs, is a 15 school elementary district. While employed with the district, I launched an entirely new brand identity and communication strategy to help showcase the students, staff, and the incredibly innovative learning within the district.

My work, while at the district was recognized on a national level. The United States Department of Education invite our department to create two videos for the Obama Administration to announce the #futureready initiative.


While employed at the district, I designed a new brand identity, launched new school mascots, designed and built a new website for the district and all schools, designed and coordinated the building of a learning management online application for teachers, created dozens of videos, and photographed the district.


After the the design is complete, the work needs to be implemented. At CCSD59, we used a variety of mediums to communicate to our families and students. While videos and photos played a prominent role, other mediums were used including email newsletters, magazines, and a variety of additional print formats.
